- obtaining the bill of lading and charges, with telefax of this information to the shipper.
- mailing the original bill of lading to the overseas agent.
- issuing a shipment release via cable when requested.
- telefaxing of dock receipt.
- expert and rapid loading of containers.
Every export booking handled through TSI provides the following information to the shipper via telefax:
- Name of the shipping line and vessel
- Voyage and sailing day
- Cut-off date when container must be returned to the pier
- Scheduled arrival date at final destination
- Booking number
In addition, every booking is immediately entered into the TSI in-house computer system, providing ready and instant access to all data relative to the shipment.
TSI can also provide complete trucking services (either full container or LTL) through our own modern fleet, as well as through our domestic 48-state carrier contracts.
